A/N: So this isn’t very long, but I got messaged this prompt, and thought I’d take it. Hope you like it! ^_^ Based on the Jamaica trip Dan and Phil went to in 2010.

“Dan? Dan, wake up!” I turned to lie on my side, gently nudging the bare shoulder of the boy sleeping next to me.
“Wh…what? Phil, it’s like 3 in the morning!” Dan mumbled sleepily, opening his eyes and turning to face me, running a hand through his roughly messed bed hair.
“Everyone else is asleep.” I whispered, a glitter in my eye.
“So was I!” Dan moaned, although a light grin appeared on his face. “What do you want?”
“So… why don’t we go, now?” I suggested, hoping he’d remember my promise that we’d go night swimming at some point while we were here.
“Where?” Dan asked, still slightly disorientated from the tiredness.
“For a swim! It’s the perfect time!” I glanced out the window at the beach opposite our room window.
“Now? Why?” Dan furrowed his brow in confusion.
“Why not?” I began lightly running my fingertips along the surface of his tanned skin, emitting a shiver from him.
“Well… I er, guess we could…” He weakened.
“Go on… just tonight. Besides, we‘re leaving tomorrow. It‘s our last chance.” I persuaded in a smooth voice.
“Okay, fine. But if anyone catches us, it’s all your fault!”
“Deal.” I grinned, climbing out of our bed, and pulling on a bathrobe up off the floor, throwing one over to him. We sneaked out of our room, leaving the door unlocked as we tiptoed across the hallway of our hotel, making minimal sound. Until Dan tripped.
“Ow, fuck!” He cursed, making a loud thud as he hit the ground.
“Shh!” I hissed, straining my ears to detect any stirring from the other rooms. Luckily, we were safe. “Are you okay?”
“Uh, yeah, I think.” Dan groaned quietly, as I held out my hand to help him up.
I smirked, pulling out my phone from the bathrobe pocket, and switching the lock screen on so we had a vague idea of where we were going. Luckily, almost at the door to the back exit.
I cringed as we opened the door, enduring its agonizing creak. We quietly slipped outside, straight onto the mile of powdery sand we were instantly met with. Although it was the middle of the night, the absence of sun made no difference to the temperature of the atmosphere, as our skin hit the warm air of the night.
We could see the ocean in the distance, the waves gently lapping the shore in shallow ripples. The moon shone through the dark sky, hitting the reflection of the water’s surface and sending of hazy glitters. Everything looked beautiful.
“You ready?” I whispered to Dan, guiding him over to the nearest palm tree to drop our clothes.
“Yeah.” He replied in a heavy breath, and it occurred to me that he’d probably never done this before.
“Come on.” I took his hand in mine.
I removed my bathrobe, dropping it to the floor. He mirrored my actions, dropping his next to mine as I let my eyes relentlessly glide over his smooth, bare body. He started shivering close to me, although it wasn’t exactly cold.
“3…2…” I counted down, bracing ourselves.
Once I hit one, I re-held his hand, and started running. Running across the beachy shore, our bare feet hitting the sand, still warm from the Jamaican sun. The sand became damper, and damper, before finally, we were in contact with the water.
“Ah!” Dan squealed, jumping over a wave.
“Follow me.” I gave him a sly grin, and ran through the water, feeling it become deeper, and deeper with every stride.
“Phil! It’s cold!” Dan complained, although I could detect the smile in his voice.
“It’s not that cold, you wimp!” I joked. “Here, have some more, then!”
I splashed a few droplets at his body, making him scream. He retaliated, before we ended up both completely wet, apart from our hair.
I led him in deeper until we had nearly reached our shoulders, feeling the sensation of the tranquil water surrounding both our naked bodies.
Dan pulled me closer by my waist, gazing into my eyes. I could make out his perfectly defined features with the light of the full moon, his eyes shining bright with happiness.
“This was a good idea of mine, wasn’t it?” I smirked, as he nodded slowly.
“We need to do this more often, Phil.” He purred, before leaning in further and kissing me softly. I melted my lips into the kiss, my hand caressing his brown curls, slightly damp from the water. He tilted his head, opening his mouth slightly and grazing his tongue over mine.
“I love you.”
We swam a little further, reminding me of what we almost did while we were in the ocean, although we were surrounded by other you tubers and waterproof cameras, so we couldn’t exactly go off on our own. I don’t think they even knew about Dan and I being… in a relationship, which is why even now, it was vital that no-one caught us.
“We will go back here, won’t we?” Dan sighed wistfully, gazing back at the beach that was laid out perfectly ahead of us. I admired the beautiful spikes of the palm trees around the edge of the shore, each one standing tall, the highly defined cliff edge, which Dan and I had jumped off the other day. Well, Dan did, anyway. I jumped off two cliffs, before my fear of heights got the better of me.
Jamaica was a Summer Paradise.
“Of course.” I responded, pecking my lips softly at Dan’s neck, although my heart sank at the thought of leaving this place tomorrow. We needed to find our way back here sometime, and although we hadn’t even left, I could help the feeling of bittersweet sadness melting through.
“We’ll be back in a heartbeat.”
